I just got a 96-99 JDM ZC Sohc motor. I put it in a 1996 honda civic ex. I did the wire trick and t's still running like shit. The Vtec oil pressure and soleniod connectors are unplugged and the knock sensor was broken due to the wiring harness.
Accord. Ignition. Distributor. Replace/Remove. I have searched Honda, it has the same wiring diagram. Back to the connector C, what color of wire coming out of 31? My guess is that if it is black, use that in lieu of pin # 30. Crankshaft Sensor Symptoms. Spark Plug Replacement. Help us
There really is not a large amount of tools needed for the test itself, and they are not specialized either. The tools needed for testing either a 2 or 3 wire speed sensor are essentially a multimeter with the clamp leads, and a drill. The 3 wire speed sensor is externally powered, so you will need a power source of some form.
The Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor is used to monitor engine speed and determines the timing for the for the fuel injectors for each cylinder. On some vehicles, the CKP sensor is integral with a Top Dead Center (TDC) sensor. The TDC sensor determines ignition timing at startup and also detects when crank angle is abnormal.
it's 1999 honda accord lx 2.3L ulev-tech. Engine code f23a4 Had a bad engine on it so I swap it with another 99 accord f23a4 engine. It start up and run fine but it wont let me go pass 3000rpm. I put in a new timing belt, water pump, cam seal, crank seal, rear main seal and spark plugs. Yes I gaped it.
Is this a one wire sensor circuit? Haven't got my wiring diagram readily available right now to see if this reading is relayed to the IC from another module or if it's a direct circuit to the IC. sorry i'm not that technical, don't have any ohm reader or whatever it's called and wouldn't know how to use one
